Toniks’ “Beera nange” hit won him his first PAM(Pearl of Africa) Award for Best R&B single 2008 plus a KISIMA nomination as well as an MTV Base Africa nomination for listener’s choice award. He went on to release more hits like Nsubiza, Yenze, Nkutwale, “I will be there”, Niwe.
In the year 2010; his song titled “Nzewuwo” earned him a nomination for best pop video in the Sound City Music Video Awards 2010 in Nigeria as well as a PAM Award nomination for best Video 2010. To date, Toniks is topping Ugandan music chats.
Having proven to be exceptionally talented, he went ahead to do collaborations with some of his local artists including Omulangira Suuna ( January to December), radio and Weasel ( Rescue) , and most recently Navio (The Life), and Keko (Best Friend).
International collaborations include Money featuring Gal Level, (Namibia) Save it for me featuring General Ozzy & Roberto, (Zambia)Killer Love featuring Fishman and Roberto, (Namibia) , She wants more featuring Zealot & Vicky from Nigeria.
