Bwamiki Romeo (born Jan 1990) known for his stage name Romeo Rhymes Bwa-miki, RRB, Romeo, or just Bwa-miki is an RnB Afro musician from Uganda. He mainly sings in Lusoga, Luganda, Runyankore English and Swahili. Romeo Rhymes Bwa-miki has become an Idol in Eastern Uganda with several of His songs popular on Radio, in Bars and Clubs all over the Eastern region to the country’s capital Kampala. His hit song ‘Nkwesumbye’ has turned into a popular phrase. He is generally credited with the amazing creativity and vocal uniqueness.
Romeo Rhymes Bwa-miki started his career in 2003 as Miming whilst studying at Kamuli College in Kamuli district, Uganda. He later started writing his own songs in 2004 with his brother Kabaka Lorenzo, Ranger, Jumper and later together with Bwana Trophie, Dj Danli formed a boy group called Dynamite Empire in 2006 and recorded their first group song named ‘Byemukola’ produced by Producer Max Dee. The group later recorded their second single ‘Flava’ in 2008 which became a viral track in Eastern Uganda topping the charts for over 2 months. In 2009, Dynamite Empire won an award in the Kamuli Upcoming Talents Awards (KUTA) as the best group of the year. He rested from music for one year due to academic considerations and later joined K-Town Music Group co-working with Dynamite Empire Music. He recorded a collaboration track with Testament KJ titled ‘mwana Muwala’ in 2012, Kitinta, Kina iwe Ft. Testament KJ, Fair in 2013 all produced by Ricky Lance C.E.O K-Town Music Group. In 2014, Romeo Rhymes Bwa-miki embarked on solo projects which saw ‘Nkwesumbye’ as the first project off his forth coming studio album entitled ‘LIVE’ in 2015
Bwa-miki’s musical style is a combination of zouk, Ragga, RnB, Afro Beat and Hip Hop. His first solo was produced by Dr. Fizo and Jose Pro of Avie Records, Makindye Kampala in June 2015.
Romeo Rhymes Bwa-miki was born in January 1990; He’s a Prince of the Royal Busoga Kingdom. Romeo Rhymes Bwa-miki is a Born Again Christian. He attended Kamuli Township Primary School for his primary education, Kamuli College for his Ordinary Level, Busoga High School for his advanced level education and Kyambogo University for his University Education. He graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Community Based Rehabilitation and graduated in December 2012. He’s credited for being a bright academician for having achieved a Honors second class upper class degree at the same time doing music and learning audio production. Romeo Rhymes Bwa-miki is a record producer working at D-tunes music. In 2002, Romeo Rhymes Bwa-miki was involved in a fatal motor accident with his two blood brothers and a friend which saw the death of his brother and a friend and only survived on God’s mercy with his brother who follows him. His younger brother Kitimbo Lawrence, using the stage name Kabaka, is also a musician;
